About Operations Labs

We exist at themoment of execution.

An AI development agency and consultancy built for the AI era, where the cost of building software has collapsed but the cost of changing a company has not.

01 · Our story

A lab, not an agency. We are operators who got tired of watching good ideas stall on the distance between a demo and something a company actually runs on.

Execution is the most dangerous, most decisive moment: the point where an idea is strapped to something that can fail, and either runs or does not. That moment, the crossing from plan to operation, is what we are built for.

We started Operations Labs because the rules changed. AI has driven the cost of building software close to zero. Anyone can launch a product in a weekend now. But a product is not a company, and a weekend wrapper is not a lasting edge.

So we built our own operational stack (entity, CRM, telephony, automation, reporting) and ran it on ourselves first. Whatever survives in production there is what we bring to clients. Not theory: tooling that has already proven itself.

Three engines feed each other: Operations builds AI into the core of companies, Recon shows where it belongs, and our keynotes put teams to work with it themselves. Every engagement sharpens the next.

02 · Mission & vision

Why we get up
in the morning.

Bring companies into execution.

Mission

To be the lab where companies go AI-native: by building the operations they actually run on, mapping where AI belongs, and putting their people to work with it themselves.

Operations, not subscriptions.

Vision

Companies running on agentic AI instead of subscribing to it, with the code, the data and the upside in house. Proof that in the AI era the hard part was never building the product. It was building it into how a company actually works.

03 · The operators

Our operators.
One mission.

Short lines, one shared stack. Marco runs the work and builds it too. The engineering underneath gets a seat of its own. Nova is our AI assistant and is the first to speak to whoever walks in.

Marco

Owner

Marco builds at the crossroads of software and hardware, an engineer as fluent in code as in the physical world it controls. He launched one of the Netherlands' first on-demand printing platforms, automated the aerial survey of an entire national rail network and built radar-driven security systems. You sit across from the person who actually builds and ships it.

The third seat

CTO

This seat is taken. We will introduce our CTO here once the time is right. From that moment on the architecture, the security and the platform everything we build runs on sit there, so what we ship today still stands years from now.

Nova, the AI assistant of Operations LabsAIGenerated portrait

Nova

AI assistant

Nova is not a person, and she says so herself. She is the AI assistant we built for ourselves first: on this site she answers questions about our work, and behind our login she knows companies, contacts, deals and the full timeline of email, calls and notes. She invents nothing to keep a conversation moving, and simply says when she does not know something. She is exactly the kind of colleague we build into your company too.

  • AI, not a person
  • Available day and night
  • Knows our knowledge base
  • Website and CRM
  • Dutch and English
  • Our own stack

No holding company and no layers in between. One point of contact, from the first conversation to what runs in production. Nova is not there for show: she runs on that same stack, so what you see her do here is exactly what we put in place at your company.

04 · What drives us

Four things we
never compromise.

01

Defensible by design

If a build can be cloned in a weekend with a clever wrapper, we do not build it. Only proprietary data, regulated positions and domains where trust carries weight.

02

Validated under fire

We test against real practice before a line of code exists. Any partner can call off a build at any point. We earn conviction, we do not assume it.

03

Operators, not spectators

We have built, hired, raised and shipped. We bring operator scars into every company we walk into, not just a slide deck and a calendar invite.

04

People

We hire only the best people. And the best are not the ones with the most impressive degrees, but the ones with the perseverance and the passion to go above and beyond whatever the moment demands. That is what a startup runs on.
